Direct TV, or Digital Cable? Which one do you own? What is your assessment almost both? Pros and cons?
Answers: Same movies over and over again...it have not changed.
That's why you don't buy HBO or Showtime or any movie channels resembling that...You invest that money into Pay Per View or just use something close to Blockbuster's Monthly Rate for as many movies as you want....
Yes, you will eventually SCROUNGE for 3 -- 5 unknown movies per month, but that's when you stop paying the monthly fee....
As for signal talent, the lowest quality is if truth be told CABLE, then DIRECT-TV next DISH NETWORK and the HIGHEST signal quality is FIOS. Around here, we hold Verizon Fios TV, and it is FIBER OPTIC all the mode into your HOME....
I liked DISH MORE than Direct TV....it be more stable, had little problems next to RAINSTORMS. VERY LITTLE compared to Direct TV....
I've had them adjectives....
Parental Control is basically one and the same for all of the systems you're looking at....REMEMBERING the Code is more exalted than anything...So use the last 4 digits of your SS number.
I hold digital cable with DVR and I want to bring back rid of it mainly because of the price I reward for what I get... I lone get roughly 15 HD channels, whereas I believe both DirecTV and Dish Network enjoy at least 3 times that masses. The only piece that makes me cautious is that local channels are not available contained by HD via satellite in my nouns, and a lot of the stuff I study is on network TV. I know I could get an HD antenna to lug care of that but consequently I wouldn't have DVR experience on those channels.
Directv is better. You take alot for what you pay for, it have Better quality, smaller number noise on the signal and no physical constrict for HD channels. Ofcourse if your using a standard Definition TV this won't issue. Directv and most Dtv boxes are similar when it comes to parental controls but combined with the Tv's V-chip you can practically controls every aspect ( Ratings, how long they see, What time they watch)
Hope thats helps.
I am a catv sweep and records technician and have installed satellite systems. If your going to involve an internet connection and abhorrence DSL.. then catv is the best choice. Their internet nouns is better unless you are a business and buy the highest bandwidth dsl available.. Thats a different subject. Downtime occur when some digger cuts the fiber and wipes out the unbroken city.rare but it happen,or some idiot installer cuts you off by mistake.
If we are only talking in the order of television.. CATV misleads you nearly digital.. Most of their channels are still analog.. So they put contained by a set top box, that has a digital index and they phone it digital cable but for the most part it isnt.
Satellite is adjectives digital but it has several problems.. You can't use it for an internet nouns unless you go near Wild Blue and when you do there are latency issues that would upset gamers and they cut your bandwidth down if you use it too much to punish you for doing business near them. As far as tv, if you have a clear chain of sight and it never rain your satellite system will work most all the time.. If clouds, set contained by and you get a well-mannered rain, you will be marginal or wipe out till the sun comes out.
You have more choice beside satellite and can get special football packages, more channel, more options. etc. As far as blocking they are equal.
CATV get you on rate increases, Satellite gets you on service fees.. If you blew your proboscis while the installer was in that, fee code 3456 will apply. If you resolve to cancel a service nearby is a $459.00 cancellation allowance. Well maybe not that much but you draw from the idea.Direct TV programming is controlled by some gustopo outfit that will pick your bones verbs.. Dish Network is a little better...
All surrounded by all, unless you want special option like the football overhaul, or want to watch Iraq TV, or live outside of catv service, CATV is the best overall choice but that could swing depending on what mso (cable co)
I did have Dish, and thought it be horrible. They ran duplicate shows over and over, and allot of commercials. Not to mention, if it rains, after the signal goes out to lunch and you can't attain any reception at all. Oh, and local channel for like communication and weather, were big bucks to return with local stations on satalite. I didn't like it one bit. My sister have cable, and she likes that much better than the Dish she used to enjoy, and local channels be included in the the business deal. That's all I know...
