I enjoy a TV explicitly roughly 15 years old-fashioned. It have have the color tube? I deliberate replaced and be working powerfully...?

then soon it just stopped turning on. Press the button and you can hear it click but nought happens. I'm basically wondering if anyone knows how difficult a fix this is. The TV is weak and I just moved, so I'm wondering if it is worth keeping it, moving it, and getting it fixed. It is one of the infirm big screen TV's and pretty cumbersome. Opinions from those who know about TV's and TV repair please.

Answers:    GOOD QUESTION.

A TV that elderly in that condition IS NOT worth repairing. These days, its sturdy to find a repair shop that will even LOOK at it for less than $60. Parts areeven harder to find for sets that outmoded, and the harder they are to find, the more they cost.

MY ADVICE: Find a good used set to replace it beside!. There are great deals everywhere for used TVs, and better from a private bash than a pawn shop. $100 can buy a 27" - 32" TV within excellent condition. People are chucking their tube TVs right and left now - I suggest looking in affluent areas, bulletin boards and community journalists, and of course, CRAIGSLIST (the best!)

In reality, don't even bother with repair, a moment ago find a good used one. You'll thank me.

Until later, good luck and permit me know how it goes!
Don’t break open it yourself! Even unplugged it is very chancy inside and can kill you. The tube and capacitors inside store a charge that can be here for days. Unless you know how to discharge them, hitting the wrong thing and you are done. If you want to grasp it repaired call a professional, it is extremely insecure.
hi,
Sometime Old Is Gold.

Thanks
To answer your question as you request the answer is that it is impossible to predict the repair cost lacking examination . My support then is to go and get a Tv tech to inspect and hopefully to give you an estimate of the repair cost .

Cheers Pete
I have a sneaking suspicion that if you called a repairman near the model he may give you an hypothesis what could be wrong. Right now adjectives we can tell you are the adjectives things that can make a tv not come on- power supply or horizontal output circuit. It could be as simple as a blown fuse to principal repair. Until you take it surrounded by for an estimate, you may never know.
