Will picture be effect if I run a coax cable from the wall to an HD Box, next run HDMI to the TV?
Thanks!
Answers: Yes-RF cable to cable box, HDMI to TV for best HDTV. Some cable companies furnish the HDMI cable-check before you buy-if you don't buy on file, they can be expensive-many stores are taking advantage. You do not necessitate a super monster cable for a short run.
With digital signals, it doesn't matter what big-hearted of RF cable you have, as long as there's plenty power, you'll get a suitable picture.
Most homes are wired with rg59 which be designed for analog signal not digital...Which causes (freezing signals and such)...Unless you want to enjoy your house rewired ....LOL...You will get the best signal you can bring right now......You can ask if they enjoy rg6 on them will improve by not by much...
That's the opening mine is hooked up, except you need a piece of coax from " cable out" on cable box to" cable within " on TV, then HDMI between TV & cable box. I used no component cable, except to hook up my surround sound DVD system. I would draw from the installation done by them & tell them it's because you want to breed sure you have it right, so the cable box isn't undermined. Sometimes. playing ignorant works wonders.
If the cable is cable company level it will be all right. In other words if you get it from the cable installer it will be okay. But you could just return with the installer to install it where the tv will be. They bring paid to do freshly that.
