Why does my new tv have the sound out of synchro with the picture?

Seems very unlikely, though you might have got a lemon. It's more likely the transmission is out of sync. Have you tried using a different external signal (like a DVD player?), does it do it then as well? If so the TV is off (somehow), if not it's the transmission -- which would also be weird but not impossible.
I usually find out-of-sync on poor quality DVDs.
Maybe your eyes are out of sync with your ears.
