Interlaced and progressive?I am doing a school research paper on the two and which is better?
Answer:
Wikipedia has decent articles that explain interlaced versus progressive.
A gross oversimplification is this: if you are not bandwidth or storage capacity constrained, progressive is generally better. However, if you want to have good quality AND optimize for bandwidth or storage considerations, go with interlaced.
Also, check out sites like doom9 forums and avscience.
