I have a Philips Tv and I can't get the closed captions off, how do I do that?



Answer:
you Will have a button on your remote that says "system" or something similar. that will bring up a menu on that menu will have "closed captions" turn that off
have you tried the menu button on your remote you can see closed cap on or off

I would check your remote for a CC, then check your TVs menu make sure they say off. If you have a set-top box they may be turned on in the box so go in your satellite or cable menu and make sure they are turned off in there as well
