Getting to hobby mode on symphonic tv (Lost remote)?
Answers: How coincidental that you asked this interrogate the day I wish to try out some universal remotes! I lost my Symphonic remote, and the first broad-spectrum I tried (RCA brand) didn't have the Game button. I be pretty despondent after reading other entries on the web, since it looked approaching most universal remotes did not include the spectator sport button, except for the one found at http://www.anytvremote.com/symphonic.htm... it's too expensive though, for one button.
Anyways, found a remote that worked on my Symphonic at Walmart for like eight bucks. It's the Philips 4-device broad remote. I think amazon have it at http://www.amazon.com/philips-magnavox-p...
I might not have equal Symphonic model as you though, so if you don't find a remote that works, a failsafe solution is to buy an RF modulator, around twenty bucks at Walmart, which basically take your red-white-yellow inputs, and outputs via coax cable. Then just turn to channel 3 or 4 to acquire your DVD player or whatever.
Hope it help!
The Philips universal remote does work great on it, but shifting the record speed is another problem! I cannot find a remote that will transformation the record speed from SP to SLP. You stipulation the original for that.
