Codes for a sru2040/17?

My children are going insane because they can't watch their movies because the remote won't change the input on the tv. So I need to reset the remote, but i need the code for it. I have a philips remote or and RCA tv. If someone can give me the codes i wiould appreciate it and so will my kids. Thanks.
