Hdmi versus component cable?
does having the hdmi and the component cable both coming from the satelite reciever weaken the signal to my tv, and which one would confer the best picture. i have switched vertebrae and forth and can barely give an account the differnce so what im basicly wanting to know is how can i gat the best picture to my tv since hd cable channels are reaklly singular broadcasted in1080i at the most so does it really make a differencr which cable to use?
Answers: Using both the HDMI and component cable from your satellite box doesn't weaken any signal. HDMI is technically superior to component, but the difference is so small that very few ethnic group can tell the difference. Use any one - whatever make the split screen or anything work better.
You can probably never tell the difference within viseo quality between the two but HDMI is a better signal. Also, if you keep watch on a HD [Blu ray] DVD (like on your PS3) you said you already are using the HDMI connection, this is preferable.
There is a signal surrounded by HDMI transmissions for certain copyright protected digital broadcasts, and from what I hold read more to come. This is to prevent copying of high definition movies. Using bar HDMI wont allow the video to play. Research this more if your itnerested.
