What's better for a larger tv set, 50" plasma.or LCD for the money?

I'm in the open market for a new tv and some population are saying to stay away from plasma even though it is for a while less on the cost cease, just want to know what you have a sneaking suspicion that?


Answers:    Brett: It depends a lot on what your primary use(s) of the set will be. There is so much misinformation here on plasmas it make me gag to read it sometimes. In the 50" category, a top of the line LCD will cost significantly more than a plasma. I'm probably biased toward plasma - I enjoy a 50". Top LCD brands: Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Hitachi.
i have a 50" 3 lcd sony tv and i imagine that its fantastic we decided on the lcd we get more for our money its all nearly taste ask the salesman contained by your local tv showroom and then prefer
