I bought a HDMI cable when i bought a replacement DVD recorder because it had a HDMI cable output connecter on it - progressive upscan 1080i for HD, did what it said on the instructions, setup, once set later remove the scart leads and enjoy the recorder going through the HD cable, but the picture screen is blank, do i call for to keep the scart lead connected?, virgin media box to DVD recorder via scart, after DVD recorder to HDTV via HDMI cable, do i need to remove the scart from the recorder to the tv?, any serve guys
Answers: No the scary as nought to do with it. Try looking on the DVD remote for a picture resolution button and press it till you get hold of 720p or1080i on the DVD display. With some DVDs when you turn them on they automatically go to a 520p resolution which the hdmi cable won't support hence no picture or nouns. Hope this helps.
