Is LCD TV as good as being used as a monitor?

Any diff with the Aspect ratio, MHz, response time, etc...
If it is as good, then I'll only have to buy 1 item.

Answer:
No its not..a tv wont be as good as a monitor as a monitor and a monitor with a tv tuner wont be as good as a tv.
The main drawback for LCD TV being used as monitor is the resolution. LCD TV has lower resolution compared to monitor.
The aspect ration is 16:9 on a TV and a monitor is 16:10. You won't notice the difference when playing games, just set the resolution in the game to match the TV. Buy an lcd tv and be done with it.
You can use it, but you will have lower resolution. You will be running 1366 x 768 with a LCD TV, simply the quality won't be as good as running a regular monitor. I am currently running my computer in my room off of my TV, I need a really small resolution like 800x600 to see anything easily, because I am far away..
