Magnet spots on TV?

I got a 32in pansonic TV next to discolor from magnet spots is there any tricks or home remedies to fix this lacking buying a degaussing coil i heaRD OF WRAPPING A MAGNET IN DUCT TAPE AND USE LIKE THE COUIL DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANY TRICKS


Answers:    When your Tv comes on, doesn't it degauss? Letting it do that multiple times might help. You can contact a TV repair service and ask them what they will charge for degaussing.
My kids messed around and put a magnet subsequent to our 37 inch TV, once they pulled it awy it had discoloration on the peak. I first tried powering off/on but that did not work. I found out that this worked for me. I powered OFF the TV then I took duplicate magnet and wiped it over the total TV screen vertebrae and forth. I waited a few minutes and later powerd back on. ALL the discoloration be gone and the TV screen be back to common.
