My Mom-in-law's t.v quit working just yesterday, but now it is making a low audible beeping noise. Anyone got any ideas what it is or why it now beeps but won't turn on? It is an Admiral 27" T.V. made in the year 2000

Impossible to give a usefull answer to this question , best course is to get an estimate on the repair from reputable TV service shop !! Your description is suggestive of the power supply being in safety mode which means that there is a fault !
