Why is digital satellite freesat with the sole purpose available from Sky? Shouldn't it be spread out to competition?
Answers: The BBC are starting a Satellite service next year call FreeSat on the SES Astra / Eutelsat satellites at 28.2 and 28.5 East.
Sky DO NOT OWN THE SATELLITES
Sky have solitary just started doing it and no other companies hold the money to send satellites into space...
And whats wrong next to Sky?
It would be if any companies wanted to put a satellite up contained by space at a cost of about lb500 million pounds, and after give everybody a free service, that cost them lb500 million.
Would you start on a business and then distribute everything free to all your customers?
Sky are with the sole purpose giving free sat for fixed channels, and they can afford to do it because they enjoy so many paying customers for their other services. They are doing it to gain customers onto their system, as once they have a dish, they will probably running out up upgrading the service to a paid service. A spratt to confine a mackerel.
Silly question
I used to discharge for sky but never watched it, presently i get freeview and am rather happy.
