hi there, look there are different lifes for plasma tv's, but maximum is bout 6 years, you know if u take good care of it and all that stuff, if you want to last longer ur tv, try to put some protector on the screen or try not to touch it, because you can change the colors of the tv if you press the screen, and also avoid magnets close to it, tv plasmas have good definition, but absolutely if you want it to last longer and best performance buy an lcd tv

I haven't personally owned one BUT... I have been told that they only last about 5 years!
