You really call for to see for yourself a demonstration of a front projection home theatre setup. DLP is far superior to LCD since the LCD panel do fad due to their natural makeup. Here's a link to an actual movie, A Good Woman shown on a 92" diagonal wall through an Infocus SP4805, 2000:1 contrast, 365 lumens projector at roughly 12 ft.:
