I came home and the power have been turned bad. my house also smelled like something be burning. The t.v. is plugged in and the green power table lamp is on, but there is no picture and no nouns. What could have happen and should I have it fixed or get hold of a new LCD? I currently hold a 32" full size JVC.

It's still worth fixing it....I suspect the standby supply actually smoked on you, but near is the possibility the Main power supply may be an Always ON circuit...if that's the case, the biggest power supply is another possibility....
Things don't smoke unless they are actually powered up.....
