Do any HDTV's currently exist that are both smaller than 32" and will adopt 1080p signals?
Answers: i see a 1080i but no 1080p's in the 32" reach.
I am not aware of a TV manufacturer contained by the WORLD who makes a 1080P TV any smaller than 32" (Sharp make the worlds 1st 32" 1080P). Now, you may be asking yourself why wouldn't they make a smaller TV to be exact 1080P. The answer is quite simple. Unless you planned on watching a 26" TV inside 2 feet from the tv eyeshade (which is not common unless your blind or dumb), near would be ZERO benefit of 1080P VS 720P at any distance more than 2 feet, as the human eye cannot distiguish the slight increase contained by horizontal resolution at such a distance away (Trust me, your eyes can't possibly see a pixel from that far away) Even if you could "See" the difference, good luck within finding TRUE 1080P HD content. Most HD DVD and BluRay Discs are filmed at 720P anyhow, later "Remastered" to 1080P to simulate FULL 1080P HDTV to fill the extra lines surrounded by the screen (Remember, those lines you can't see anyhow) It does not produce sense for a manufacturer to produce a product that the consumer cannot benefit from. It be a tough decision for Sharp to release the 32" 1080P, however, it somewhat make sense, as some "Gamers" my see the Benefit of 1080P at around 3 feet (Some Gamers approaching to be close I guess) Guess they might grow up cross-eyed. Try a computer monitor. They should support 1080p, and some of the higher-end models can also take component video and HDMI connections.
The lone problem is that they can run more than a 32" LCD TV...
I just read an article on cnet and their experts speak that unless the TV is 50" don't bother with 1080P.You wont see the difference.
