There is no such entity as an AV Channel.
Most TV sets sold now have multiple inputs to connect to and what you switch is where on earth the TV input comes from. Usually a button on the TV and remote labeled INPUT. Really old TVs do not have buttons close to this because they do not have multiple inputs.
You did not tell us a bring in and model of TV, so we can not do much to help you. If you have one of the these really antediluvian TVs, you might be able to find an RF modulator you can plug your PS3 into, but it is going to be a real kluge and provide a dismal picture. You really need a newer TV and you should have checked this previously you bought the PS3.

is there an input button on your remote, if so try pushing it, you may have to push it twice, or jump to your tv and push the channel button down, or up
