I recently bought a Westinghouse 32" TV, model # : SK-32H240S. The cable works fine, besides tiny bit of snow here and there. but yesterday i tried to hook up my XBox 360, and Philips DVD player/ recorder, When i found that the video works for my 360, but not the audio, so i tried adjectives the XBox audio changes and nothing worked (I be using the HDCP connection, and i also tried the AV cables as capably.) Then i tried my DVD player, and i get neither sound or video, i've tried connecting them surrounded by both sets of the AV ports, and nothing. After trying a firmware update from the site, my TV wouldn't recognize the USB flash drive i inserted. Is here anything wrong with the set of ports on the back? A problem some one local can solve, resembling the Geek Squad?
Also, i haven't tried any HDMI ports yet because i don't have the cable, though i'm planning on getting one today, however; i strongly believe those won't work any since none of the others have worked so far. Although, cable is the ONLY port that works so far...(which is actually going through my DVD player / recorder.
Both devices (360, and DVD player) worked without a flaw fine on my previous Ilo 27" TV.
Answers: I had a similar issue with my Westinghouse, I reformatted my flash drive using FAT instead of FAT 32 formatting and the TV notorious the drive and updated the firmware which then fixed the issues I was have.
