I have an HD tuner in my TV and I do not take local channels with my Directv service. I want to buy a HD antenna so I can seize any off air local channel in HD. Would I also need to acquire a regular antenna for non HD channels or does the HD antenna pick up both HD and SD off nouns channels? What would be the best type of antenna to get, plan brand and type? I went to Wal-mart and there seem to be a bunch of different types. Should it be and indoor or outdoor antenna? Also I should have asked this first, but is there even such a article as off air HD channel? I think that is adjectives of my questions.
Thanks for the help contained by advance! I really appreciate it!

Put your address in here and it will detail you your local stations. There is no such thing as an HD antenna. Any TV antenna will work and the only item in question here is the directionality and gain that you have need of to get the stations you want to see. Brands are of no importance for an antenna. This will make available you that info via the color code (which you click on to see).
