What is dlp?

are all hdtv's geared up for next year when they go and get rid of antenas? sorry im new to the hdtv piece.

What would motive my TV's digital optical audio output to stop working?

Answers:    I believe all TVs manufactured surrounded by the past 12 months enjoy a digital tuner and are thus equipped to receive digital signals.

DLP TVs are much bulkier than plasma or LCDs but are also more affordable. Having the lamp burn out on a DLP is the most adjectives problem with them but unlike oodles other types of TV it's the kind of repair the average human being (who is a bit of a DYI type) can make the repair themselves. The lamps/bulbs themselves can be pricey though.

How long do i own to hang about up to that time i can interval something on my plasma TV and it doesn't burn into the peak

Digital Light Projection - DLP. It uses mirrors to imitate light from a oil lamp onto a Screen.

Movie theaters have be using the technology for over 15 years now, so the technology eventually moved into the consumer kingdom once it became affordable.it's pretty reliable technology, short of the reality it uses a mercury vapor lamp contained by it.

But they will be replacing that lamp and the color joystick with Lasers this Christmas, which will take home it even MORE RELIABLE..

My convergence is rotten on my tv, its a backside projection jvc hdtv, i have a sneaking suspicion that one of the bulbs is out?

DLP is a relatively new projector technology from texas instruments that uses millions of tiny mirrors on a chip to parallel beams of colored flimsy onto a screen.

If you want to win digital tv signals off the atmosphere, you need a digital tv tuner. Not adjectives HDTVs have these built within.
